JOB BRIEFING
Create and maintain test cases to ensure proper functionality on squad implementations.
Create and maintain test plans to document test cases and results.
Run manual tests cases to ensure squad’s implementations functionality.
Document bugs, at Jira, based on requirements mismatches.
Actively participate in ceremonies to share status and recommendations (including quality concerns based on testing results).
Promote an open, respectful and trustful interaction with all the team members.
Actively participate in requirements elicitation.
Closely collaborate with developers to define testing strategies and share testing results in an agile way.
Request proper input to create test cases and propose enhancements to our process – Clear any assumption!.
Sync with E2E QA team to promote TCs reuse and lessons learned.
Support squad test case automation on the long run (mid-long term plan).
REQUIREMENTS
English Advance Level.
QA should have experience with both iOS and Android apps.
Knowledge of Charles log and how to use logs to determine the root of the defect is a must.
Need to know basics about APIs and how to read/understand the calls / failures using Charles log.
Triage defects to determine if it is a data issue, environment, API or client issue before logging JIRA.
Understand the changes in each build (talk to developer and request list of changes) before testing.
Help with demo session with product and squad members.
Document, maintain and execute regression test cases of the squad in every release.
Reproduce and help triaging production defects.
