Sr. Android Developer

In ByKon we’re looking for an exceptional Sr. Android Developer to join our fast-growing team. This is an opportunity to work alongside world-class technology and data science experts paving way for fast-paced career growth and learning.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the applications corresponding to your project.
• Develop the structure of the architecture and create views
• Translate conceptual design to user interface on Android phones
• Create new functionalities to applications
• Test and troubleshoot application errors
• Attend meetings and work as a team to achieve goals

Requirements:

• + 3 years of experiencie in Android Development (Android studio, Java and Kotlin)
• Bachelor’s degree: Computer Systems Engineering or related
• Advanced English 
•  Certification: SCRUM Master (Desired)

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge in Android, Core Java, Computer Science fundamentals, REST and JSON
• Different versions of Android and handling of different screen sizes
• Prior experience building apps using the MVVM and MVC pattern
• Experienced in building scalable and reactive consumer-facing mobile applications
• Skilled at writing Unit and Automation tests
• Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
•  Google Design Principles and Interface Guidelines
• General mobile landscape, architectures, trends and emerging technologies
• Experience and knowledge using Git, JIRA, and Agile processes

Soft Skills:

•  Experience about performance optimization of mobile applications
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Available to work independently and manage on time
